Cricket_Guru Posted July 18, 2010 Posted July 18, 2010 dont really know, but if you just have this decision as your source to how it use to be, then am afraid the green coloured light produced red colour when it came on
Rajiv Posted July 18, 2010 Author Posted July 18, 2010 No, the commentator said it's green and its out
Cricket_Guru Posted July 18, 2010 Posted July 18, 2010 No' date=' the commentator said it's green and its out[/quote'] but i guess green being not out makes sense, so :hatsoff: to the re-inventor
Clarke Posted July 18, 2010 Posted July 18, 2010 I reckon it was only India that the reverse methodology was used. When India toured SA in the early 90s, it was the same as what we have today if my memory serves me right.
Zap_Brannigan Posted July 18, 2010 Posted July 18, 2010 No' date=' the commentator said it's green and its out[/quote'] Back in the early days, when there was probably no fixed code, i remember they used green for out and red for not out (probably had to do with green light - go and red light - stop). I cant place the game, but i seem to remember this happening in late 90's as well. I could be wrong and it just could be a game's highlights i saw in the late 90's.
