Former Pakistan spinner and selector Abdul Qadir thinks Afridi shouldn't have been in the side "I don't think there was ever any place in the Test squad for Afridi, and in the first place he should not have been considered for the Tests" Asif Iqbal, the former Pakistan captain, questions the board's selection methods "Afridi was lamentable, an indisciplined disaster, whose sole virtue, bless him, was to recognise that he did not have the temperament for Test cricket." In the Independent on Sunday, Stephen Brenkley compliments Afridi's honesty "The national team is not the place for experimentations. Afridi has let Pakistan cricket down." All I am reading above is "should have consulted" which extracts to rules etc but this is Afridi - err rules?? From his batting style to cheating stance, there is nothing about rules in his book so either the above are dumb or being too enthusiastic about voicing their concerns Regardless from his Keema-Brain Attitude of hitting, he is what he is and you can't place a non-peeled green apple as main dessert in a gourmet restaurant ( Test Captain - Lords ), great for his resume perhaps but not for long run Everybody is not a Mahendra Singh Dhoni, he was known to be a big hitter and he had no clue that he would take over captaincy but the man is made of steel.
