Katich is one of the gutsiest and mentally toughest cricketers I have seen in a long time. The way he has resurrected his career after being ridiculously mishandled by selectors in 2004 and then having some serious technical/form slumps in 05 is truly amazing and a testament to his character, fight and dedication. I wish the likes of Rohit Sharma, Yuvraj Singh and Murali Vijay had .001 of his tenacity and fight. :((

He's one of the most thrilling and remarkably consistent batsmen I have ever seen, a true freak of a player. I also find his interview style refreshing - he cuts to the point rather than wasting time with being nice and politically correct to say the "right" things as do so many others.

Maybe not hate- more or less he gets on my nerves a bit with some of the stuff I recall him saying (not really sure what it was) and then to topple that off he is an exceptional batsman which frustrates me even more when use play Aus!
