Actually he did rub the ball on the ground, which is strange. Have seen people rub dirt on hand and then hold the ball. But dont think it was intentional or that he was trying to tamper with the ball. Let's see how this is played out by the Aussie media.

What he did was clearly illegal. He rubbed dirt on his hand and rubbed it all over the ball ala Atherton style. This is clear ball tampering. This victory by pak should always have an astreix next to it. Just like all wins gained by Asifs drugged up bowling

I'm going to let the other users respond to your "valid assertion" that wearing a bandana and turban influences performance while using squash balls to improve your grip of the bat doesn't. dumb post, how does a turban help in bowling? and actually bhajji dont wear a turban when he plays or ever.....go research a turban. now a squash ball in the gloves definately does something as it is directly in physical contact between the handle and hands..What it exactly does is a topic of research.
