KKD has been fantastic for whatever number of matches he's got to play as a ad-hoc player. He was adjourned MOM in Asia cup final as well. I have given up on Rohit Sharma but it seems like MSD is never going to let go off him at least until the WC's done and dusted with.

Nohit got a poor decision, and Virat failed in just one game. SO too early to say this, and being an Indian Cricket Fan, i would never say that India should lose from my heart.I may jinx them and if you are doing the same, then ....good luck :regular_smile:

Fat-hit Sharma is a huge liability. Useless player. And while Alien(jadoo) bowled ok today and KKD did ok in some prior Final, I'd rather not have mediocre Kkd and RJadeja in squad. V.Kohli deserves few more chances. Perhaps Dravid and Laxman can bat better in ODIs for WC2010 than Nohit fatso and KKD!

Why do people get upset over backup players that are only there because of injuries? Karthik, Rohit, Kohli etc are only there for injury cover for a reason. Because they're not good enough to compete against Gambhir, Tendulkar, Yuvraj etc. There's no point at getting upset with part time players who are only there to fill out the squad.

Uthappa got injured at the worst possible time for him, just when selectors were selecting outside their comfort zone. But just because he had a good IPL doesnt mean he will have a good ODI year like Murali vijay and nohit. He could be the back up batsman along with Kholi but we need someone who can bowl at #7. Unless Dhoni gets confidence in Sehwag, Yuvi and Raina to bowl 10 overs, we will go with some half ass all rounder.

Absolutely no need to upset upon their performance. They are just back players. But one of them may be at no.7
