Since the allrounder for India is like the great white hope, it is always better to go with 7+4 (pure batsmen/part time spinners + 4 decent bowlers). in all conditions.

If they can think about Jadeja as an All-rounder and Ashwiin as a possible one in the future, its a given that Irfan Pathan shall dawn in their wisdom. Whether they pick him or not is a completely different issue. And Irfan's indifferent form with the ball doesn't help matters. He should take a cue from Murali Karthik.
