7+4 ----> 7 batsmen + 4 bowlers? 6+5 ----> 6 batsmen + 5 bowlers? 7+1+3 ----> 7 batsmen + 1 all-rounder + 3 bowlers? 6+2+3 ----> 6 batsmen + 2 all-rounder + 3 bowlers? 1.Out of these four options.......which is most suitable for a team in sub continent?

I think 7+1+3 is best.

2.Is Indian team have all four options?

yes

3.Which team has these all options better than all other teams?

I am not able to pick any team

Combination depends upon quality of players available at a team's disposal! There is no fixed formula Ideally, you would want 7 good batsmen and 5 good bowlers, which means you have to play 1 decent all-rounder to lend balance to the playing 11 In India's case, may be we are better off with 7 batsmen, 3 seamers (Zak, Nehra, PK/Ishant)and 1 'quality' spinner with part timers playing the 5th spinner's role There is also a case of playing Irfan as the bowling all-rounder and two specialist spinners. This depends up on how you rate Irfan's bowling vs the 3rd seamer and part-time spinners bowling vs the 2nd specialist spinner

7+1+3 Sachin Sehwag Gambhir Raina Kohli Yuvraj Dhoni Praveen Kumar/Irfan Pathan Harbhajan Zaheer Sreesanth (provides the variation in the attack)
Ishanth is a better option at no.11 who provides that required variation in the attack.

He is a stand-out bowler in the making. Maybe he will get to that position in a few years.

He's got experience. Ishant doesn't. If Sreesanth can back his verbals with the bowling, like Zak, I don't see why he can't be a regular.

Sree 's ODI record is pathetic,his E/R is 6,in India that rises to 6.55.I'd even have Agarkar ahead of him

Sree 's ODI record is pathetic' date='his E/R is 6,in India that rises to 6.55.I'd even have Agarkar ahead of him[/quote'] He'll get his chances and he'll make the most outta them. Experts around the world rave about this guy and his abilities. He's the kind of guy who is a certain fix when it comes to making a comeback and a pretty darn good one at that. The keyword is "consistency".

I think 6+2+3 also better option. Sachin Sehwag Gambhir Yuvraj Dhoni Raina Irfan Jadeja Harbhajan Praveen kumar Zaheer In this team every player is capable to contribute with bat. And we got 5 bowlers. If any one bowls poor.....we have part time bowlers to fulfill remaining overs. Sehwag,Yuvraj,Raina.........2+2+2=6 overs they will bowl. If any one succeeds they will bowl some more overs. In batting also......two good performances from top6 batsmen is enough to make a huge score. Irfan,Harbhajan.......both can hit the ball very hard in slog overs also. Praveen,Jadeja,Zaheer can run per ball.
