Everyone failed in the first Innings. In the 2nd innings the pressure was to reach a decent total and near South Africa's run tally. Prior has never done much outside England plus Dhoni has made runs against variety of oppositions plus Prior has failed more than Dhoni in pressure situations.

Prior is a clown with the gloves, in the league of Akmal. So as a wicketkeeper-batsman, the choice is clearly Dhoni. As a pure batsman, Prior comes out on top in tests.

I said more than once, Dhoni failed in that situation. Now why only Dhoni whole team Failed. And talking about the shot. Thats the way Dhoni plays, he is not a player with Copy Book technique. Prior has failed more than Dhoni, how about that? How does it make him beter? Prior is a noob compared to Dhoni. Let him score runs outside Enbgland first in Pressure situations then we can talk about him.

No i dont think 2nd innings pressure was more. But Pressure was their in the 2nd innings. And why only judge a batsman on the basis of failure in one pressure situation. He has bailed India out of Many pressure situations.
