Well i am still continuing on Amino with gulatimine twice daily .. mrng and afternoon.. Gutamine before training .. followed by gutamine (immediately after workout) and Whey protein after 30 mins. I am taking most supplements from ultimate Nutrition and Prolab .. how do u rate them .. ( i don't have access to Muscle Tech products) Is khowa (the milk product) good for bodybuilders ?

Staying off Creatine every 6 weeks is a good idea. Personally during this phase I typically bump up my protein content obtained from meat. So go easy on egg whites and load a bit on chicken, fish and egg yolks. These have trace elements of Creatine and so can help you hold on Creatine levels. Also if you consume red meat this is a good time to do that.

Both of them are fairly good companies, and have been in the business for a while. The bigger question is what supplements are you picking from these companies? Because no company out there has good supplements in every area. Typically if you are looking for Creatine (say) you should look for: a) Basic Creatine, which is Creatine Monohydrate. You have different flavors of Creatine ranging from AKG to Orotates, but CM personally is the one that works best. b) Creatine has a very short life so to get the best out of it mix it grape juice and drink instantly. If you let it settle for even 30 minutes it starts losing its impact. So look for product that are exteremly granular to facilitate mixing. c) The purest form of Creatine is Creapure, manufactured in Germany. Over 90% of Creatine in market is poor product made out of China, stay away from them. If you are looking for any specific supplements let me know and I can give you better inputs. Aminos, for example, are best by Scivation (Xtend is the product name) & ALRI (Chain'd OUT). MT Products are decent but way overpriced.

It has milk fats in a dense form. If you are looking to bulk it is a good bet else I would stay away from it.

I am taking products from these companies: Creatine Monohydrate - Ultimate N L Gulatamine - Ultimate N (Sometimes Prolab when Ultimate is NA) Whey Supreme /Isolate - Ultimate N Amino Acid (Ultimate N or sometimes Tara Nutricare - when i am in India) I agree that MT products are over priced but they do deliver ... I heard by many that their creatine product i.e. Cell Tech is one the best creatine product and some even go to an extent in saying that Cell Tech is 10 times more powerful than other companies who produce creatine ... :sign: I have no access to it :(( (otherwise i cud have payed double to get that product). I did a few search on Creapure and i got the info that even Ultimate have started the production and surely it wud be internationally avail . within few mnths. :yay:

I heard its a myth, as the researcher says Creatine keeps its bond for a longer period of time and doesn't change its state even when mixed with water for a long period. These days we get Glutamine /Amino Caps , do think they are as useful as powders. PS: Thanxs a million for answering my Q , i think other reader wud also benefit from it .

Cell Tech is much more than a Creatine product. It has fast acting carbs (Dextrose) and other supplements thrown in (Taurine etc). It is a post workout drink as such. If you are looking for a good post workout drink probably the best one out there are Myozene and Golden Finish. Or you can make them yourself (which I do half of the time). Get some Glucose(or Gatorade), add Creatine, Aminos, Whey Isolates and you are good. Make sure your carb to protein ratio is 2:1 or higher(if you use 60 grms glucose, use 30 gms of protein). Where do you order your supplements from? And where do you reside?

I have heard that too but frankly it has not worked for me.

Yes I do. It helps me in 2 ways. When I am travelling I can pack them up which is always easier to do than with bulk powders. Also when I make my own drink I dont overdose(which is something every working out guy does..more than neccessary amount). It is easy to split open 2 caps and add them to a drink than measure with a spoonful. You may want to look up Taurine and Beta Alanine. The latter works great with Creatine and is very popular these days. Beware of a slight tingle in your ears, start with low dosage and then add. xxx

so i dropped four pounds in the last two weeks, but i seem to have hit a saturation on the cardiovascular exercises. i cant achieve seem to better 40 minutes for 4 miles, and in that, my fastest mile is not dropping below 6 minutes. what must i do? furthermore, i get cramps in my back around the 3 mile mark and its eventually the cramps that prevent me from going any further. is this one of those issues of a weak core? on a related note, i was schooled in racket ball by this absolute babe: 15-7, 15-2, 15-8, 15-3, 15-8.

yeah its is incredible indeed. 8 km is about 5 miles and i have never done that in less than 60 minutes, though i seldom run past 4 miles. do you use an incline cg? if so, how much?

woah, that comes to 2minutes/ lap for about 20 laps around a 400m track. That's is quite good. A long while back in school, I recall doing 4 laps (1600m) in 6:07 minutes but to sustain it for 20 laps is awesome. Btw, note to myself that I need to get more fatter.

Thanks!! i just needed to break pass that 7km barrier that i had!! (it was more like a mental block more than anything) baring in mind at this stage i am doing this on a treadmill not the outdoors that obviously makes it a little easier and yes i do keep it on an incline but only about .5 or 1.0 even just to protect the knees!

Can i use the normal glucose which are used by sportsman to boost up .. or the normal ones that are available in pharmacy.

Since i work for Marine Co. i don't reside at a particular place for long , earlier i was in posted in ports of Egypt now i am here for few mnths in port sudan ... I get my full year supplements at one time from India or Singapore (my Office HQ) , UM and prolabs have distributer in India where i normally purchase 5 kgs of whey , 6 kgs of Amino , 2 kgs of creatine and I kg of Gutamine. These supplements last about a year .. and then when i am in Singapore or India I get the new ones again .. One more important thing .. I always get confused to do Deadlift on leg days or back days ... i did for 6 mnths on my leg days as i had heard that even though more back movement is involved its works great for guteus. But later on i saw bodybuilding greats like Ronnie , Ruhl doing it on back days ... whats ur take on that...
