Indian fans going to Dhaka Hi guys, I am an Indian, living in a South East asian city. I am going to be in Dhaka to watch the match on 19th. I am sure, there will be a lot more Indian cricket fans who will be there as well. When I am there, I will stay in a hotel in Kawran Bazar area. I am new to the place; so, it will help me, if I can liaise with someone - example, on the transporation to go to Mirpur stadium etc. May be, I can find someone, who will possibly also stay in a hotel at Karwan bazar area?

My reason(s) for going to the Dhaka match is different - I am sort of a sports tourist. So, combining the two things- sports for the love of it & exploring a new place as a tourist. I have been to Chennai and Bangalore cricket stadia for several international cricket matches before. Dhaka experience is going to be new for me. Moreover, it's the opening game of the world cup. So, there will be certain value added to the "overall experience" of the fun, being there.

Will any ground allow us to take mobile phones or cameras?
You should be all right with the mobile phones. Camera probably would need to sneak through. P.S - Sent you the stuff you asked for last night.
