He hardly plays singles. That's one of the main reasons why he failed to win that match against Bellucci. No idea how to close out a match even from such a position of strength!

Well we woudl havce comfortably won with Yuki Bhambri playing one of the singles match. Bhambri made his davis cup debut last year in a dead rubber against against saffer van der merwe and defeated him in straight sets. He needs to be played in these big games.

Even though it was very disappointing, can't blame him really. He hardly gets to play in singles and inexperience showed big time there. Any pro singles player would have won it hands down from that situation unless he was pitted against a champion player. But full marks to the man for showing resilience and winning that all important match :hatsoff:
