zaheer Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 BTW why is this peter george guy selected? Played 5 matches and averages like 60+? He has played 5 List A games and 18 FC games with an average of 28.
Sachinism Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 Oh man, was hoping Gambhir plays a big innings. We need him to be in form at the top
Andy Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 Looks like Gautam Gambhir's Merry days are over. Now not sure how well the Number 1 team will do against Number 4. This track was so flat and still they manged to take 4 :phehehe:
Roshanrocks Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 so our domestic batsmen cannot play pace?
Andy Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 so our domestic batsmen cannot play pace? Its medium pace i guess.:cantstop:
IKnowU Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 Kohli and Rohit should have been playing.........too much inexperience with guys like Rahane, Saha, Tiwary playing.
Andy Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 Bring in the Nohits and Yuseless players. :haha:
Sachinism Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 This is pathetic. At least put up a fight
saneindian Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 This is embarassing. Can't really remember the last time the BP 11 failed so miserably in a practice match. I am getting slightlyworried about Gambhir's form. Has not scored runs for sometime now. Hopefully Viru's presence at the other end will help him get back into a good run scoring rhythm.
achilles Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 Our form is bad but Aussie batsmen got some taste of Indian bowlers. Epic collapse of the Aussies. I wonder how well they will fare when they face the national bowlers in the Tests. Also, we can keep bowling our trumpet saying we can handle pace, but 53/5 means we need to work hard.
Ravi. Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 Our domestic cricketers cant even play medium pace bowlers?
saneindian Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 Both Hauritz and Smith are getting hammered by Chawla, thats one positive besides Ojha's and Sreesanth's bowling.
Gunner_Mania Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 Given how we are slow starters, we should play our first XI as the BP XI so that they can get thier slow start out of the way in this:D ShanS 1
