ShahidAfridi Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 There are no real quicks coming through, i mean bowlers who always bowl 140+ Shaun Tait only plays T20 and the occasional ODI and Shoaib Akhtar is reaching the end of his career. Brett Lee and Shane Bond are plagued by injuries, IMO there is nothing better than watching a fast bowlers run up and the crowd buzzing. I dont think anybody in the near future will reach the pace achieved by Shoaib,Tait,Bond and Lee. Players like Tim Bresnan are being classed as a fast bowler , that just hurts me.

achilles Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 Flintoff used to touch 90Mph on 4/6 deliveries in tests on ONE LEG, while many players are busy letting the speed take a plunge by around 20kph, to settle for "line and length", which they can't achieve and then they get dropped and pressure gets to them to touch that speed again. Its a vicious cycle.
