SachDan Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 Frustration was quite evident when he threw unnecessarily to run out Sach :hysterical: Yeah..a second inning failure coming up! Does it again :hysterical: over throws gifts couple of runs to Vijay :)
King Tendulkar Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 I tell you sachin ton has mentally disentegrated him. Surely sachin is close to taking number 1 spot in test batting rankings again

Fontaine Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 We're truely priviledged to watch the last few innings of a gifted genius. Every time Sachin bats now, I look at it as a gift to watch the great man wield the blade for India.
Precambrian Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 So the lead is ten now? That's some catch up for Ponting to do.
99.94 Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 I don't get where this Ponting vs. Tendulkar rivalry even came from.. sure, they were close at one stage, but there has never been any verbal banter between the two of them (as far as I'm aware). My guess is that it has been contrived by Indian fans who are are sour at Ponting to degrade him.

A few years ago most cricket "pundits" had written off SRT and said that it was a matter of when rather than if Ponting surpassed SRT. So these threads are an answer of sorts for such comments. So not really much to do with Ponting.

King Tendulkar Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 I don't get where this Ponting vs. Tendulkar rivalry even came from.. . Most runs and most tons. They are in direct competition!:--D Its all good fun the banter:winky:
DomainK Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 Fair enough. As long as you're taking it out on them and not Ponting :winky: I think Ponting has been one of the biggest admirers of Sachin. But dont tell me that he never thought of surpassing Sachin. Nothing wrong with that though and you are right that there has never been any ugly exchange between the two. But one could sense the competition. Ponting did his best, but could never catch up.
Shakthi Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 Congrats to The greatest cricketer on the planet no Bradman no Sobers no Lara no Ponting Only SACHIN the greatest cricketer of all time always will be.

Sachinism Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 Where you not calling for his head on a plate a few years back? Don't be so shameless and now jump on the bandwagon!:--D Calm down, she's seen the light now :--D
