Compared to some of the names I have mentioned definetely Sammy ain't that bad. Why Rashid.... One of our best keepers and a decent bat as well.... he was unlucky to play alongside moin khan otherwise he would have played many more matches

Not only that....he seems to be the only captain who been able to make WI play as a team. Even Gayle...though a good & dangerous batsman was selfish & never a leader of the team. Look where Sammy has taken this WI team this year. at home...they avoided whitewash against India & actually played good cricket. They beat Pak at home in a Test also. Won against BD which a good....& now they are at the brink of winning against India at Delhi. Which WI captain in the last 10 years can put their hand up...& say...that they have such a year with probably only Chander as a worldclass batman. The only time those former WI captain can put their hand up is when asked if they avoided consecutive white wash.

These guys criticize Dhoni's test batting skill while they have never even produced a test wk-batsman with avg higher than 30. Heck, even Pappu patel is better than Latif.
