I understand that freedom of expression is believed in this site, but in my opinion that particular right needs to be reviewed when someone abuses it. Just a slight example - take 'jusarrived', he is not a fan of Tendulkar and he openly states it. In fact he was a Tendulkar hater a couple of years back. But none of us have ever had problems with him. He knew how to behave in a civilized manner. In other words, he didn't pollute this site. This troll I'm speaking of on the other hand is a twisted, bitter, top grade retard who has been polluting this site for too long now. Such a poster would have been wiped out of PP if he were a Pakistani, and I believe we need to take the same step. Enough! I urge my fellow posters to sign this petition. And MODS, for once please don't delete this thread. Wait for the responses from the other posters. Let's see what majority of the fans believe regarding this issue. P.S. None of us want that toll to agree with our views, but all of us want to see him go away from here because of the utter pollutant that he is. Mods, please let this thread live for 24 hours. We'll get a clear picture on what the majority here thinks.

The only thing that a poster should get banned is for abuse no matter who he is. Patriot on occasions does abuse others but he has done time for it IIRC. Now to the core matter of him being a Tendulkar Hater. Well you can deal that with reasoning, facts , figures and logic. And since this is topic where I suspect majority of the posters are on the same wavelength as Bublu a bit of unity would do no harm. But from my experience only a handfull of posters take the time to go to that extra length of standing up and saying : "hey this is wrong and this is why you are wrong" . This is the absolute fundamental essence of any modern democratic civil society. If you choose to be spectators on the foot path watching the fun most times and are now complaining that since the outcome wasnt to your expectation well you lost the right to complain the moment you decided to stand by and watch the fun hoping that it would turn out the way you would hope for. In short get down and dirty if you care for the community. Dont just shut up and watch and worse pretend that you can ignore/and or dont care. And when I did present myself with Reasoning Facts and Figures, albeit a little harshly, cuz the guy who I was replying to is a f'ing scum bag and according to me a big troll, I got banned. Ram Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Well, we certainly don’t appreciate members opening petitions to ask for other members to be banned. That is very unhealthy practice. If you have a problem with a specific post/thread, you always have the option of reporting it. The forum’s rules are pretty clear and we have strict guidelines as to when someone can be banned or not banned. Patriot has not crossed that line. He has point of view, with which a majority of us disagree with. But that does not mean we gang up to get rid of him. There's no true free speech, unless you tolerate some amount of 'unsavory' speech. From now on guys, please refrain from opening such threads.
