was checking records just like tht yterday, india has won 21 tests against top oppositions and lost only 8 in which dhoni has played since 2005.
Well Pujara has a 100% win record against top opp and 0 losses. Beat that!

I wonder what Ishants record is since his debut in tests? If he has a better win ration then dhoni, then following your logic through he is better then Dhoni!

in the record books, no one can beat sach. but in terms of captaincy, keeping, street-smartness , courageous batting and winning the matches for india under him , dhoni is right up there with all time indian greats. SO he cud even match sach in overall contri. by the time he retires IMO
this post expresses my thoughts pricisely.

raina in tests?? grt sample space again. ishant/gamby tests are also a subset of dhonis. find a better example.
now u'd say dhoni tests are a subset of sachin's. but mate they were not winning as many tests bfore dhoni.

more recent exmple, dhoni leading csk to ipl and clt20 wins, despite being weaker to MI (arguabley). Indians fans relish the importance of winning more than individual records. I hope someday , the people I am debating here would too. chao. Need to sign out people.

great sample space ' date=' clapping[/quote'] KT has different sample size criteria for different players: Che - 1 (OK) Lohmann - 18 (OK) Bradman - 52 (NOT OK) :winky: BTW, vaibhav_delh this doesn't mean I agree with any of your posts. :hehe:
