Zero_Unit Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 I would watch the match but then again there is no fun in watching a FIXED MATCH!
mhr123 Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 Is the crowd actually reciting Quaran? I hear la-ila-i la la in , Alla u Akbar during the game? No it was not Quran ... it was some sort of arabic song.. normally when some guest arrive the small children recite a welcome song . Btw.. la ilaha illalaha .. is not a verse of Quran but its a first pillar of Faith.
King Tendulkar Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 Yeah I noticed that as well.. Its totally fine to chant Pakistanis slogans or even once in a while AllahuAkbar but the whole crowd keep chanting Quran most of the time during RSA batting... Don't know why we need to mix relgion in sports... its as if God/Allah/bhagwan is gonna come and help you win Chanting quran during cricket, just weird

king2be98 Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 The people who go to watch matches can chant and recite whatever they want so long as it's not offensive to anyone else. I don't see what the issue is, why does it bother anyone what a crowd chants if it's not offensive? As for Pakistan's performances lately, they have been nothing short of heaartbreaking. But I've given up on cricket for several reasons, the quality of cricket right now is dreadful. No quality bowlers bar 2/3. The Pakistan attack was decent (just decent) until the 2 main guys got caught fixing. The SAffers have 1 decent bowler and 1 really really good bowler. The Indians have nothing, the Sri Lankans have bowlers for one condition only. The Aussie bowlers are trundlers who can't take wickets. The English are over rated, they are being pumped up but all they did was bundle out our crap batting line up time and again. Until the quality of bowling, particularly fast bowling improves, I really have no desire to watch any cricket. I watched part of the Ind and Aus series as a neutral and although it wasn't the most boring of contests, but the lack of quality bowlers made it dull. Where the heck are the good fast bowlers, the game need genuine quick bowlers who are out and out wicket takers not garbage like Broad, Johnson, Gul, Zaheer to name a few. These guys have pathetic averages and they bowl crap a good chunk of the time.
Cricket_Guru Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 taking micky out of religion eh? they were saying these slogans Pakistan ka matlab kiya.........La ilaha Illalah (A fact, not by meaning but by its purpose) nothing wrong............

ShahidAfridi Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 go cry away somewhere else. You have known nothing about the great game called cricket. F*** off. He is right, Zaheer averages around 30 Where are you Taits,Akhtars,Bonds,Asif's Fast bowling is dying and pitches around the world are the main reason. Watching Ball dominate bat is great to watch and that is what test match cricket should be about
Precambrian Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 what's the big deal??? So religion has to be completely shunned from the sport while you can wear ****ing pumpkins and beer to the ground and puke around? Or show your nudezz warezz???? Just treat it as any other "Excess".. like beer/pumpkin/scanty clothing/booes etc..
