Nirvanam Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 Which is your favorite commenmtary sentence that you've heard. For me it was one of Mikey Holding's in his lovely accent. The game was Ind v/s Pak in 2006...think it was the second Test at Lahore. The commentators had been going on and on and on about how flat the wickets had been for the last 7-8 days of Test cricket already played on the tour. Then RP, in his debut Test (incidentally he was the MoM awarded by the commy's in a sarcastic way coz he picke a 4fer on a road) let one go on the full to the batsman....full toss above waist high...our man Mikey comes up with this gem... "he has taken the pitch out of the equashunnnnn" lol! gold pure unadulterated gold. Although I never geard this, but I read it...Brian Johnsoton's - "the bowler is holding the batsman's willy!" and then of course the famous "he has done him between his legs!" But for sheer ingenuity and that accent, "he has taken the pitch out of the equashunnn!" is me fav
