littlemaster1982 Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 Another holwer which denies VVS a well deserved 100  BCCI, wake up!!
fineleg Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 Steve Davis not 100% right pwns MSD Thick inside edge for Laxman  Poor Laxy!!! Inside edge for ZK and he is called a 5 ball over for Vettori
spectre Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 Superb...these morons deserve this They still wouldnt bother. Had VVS got this decision @ 15-5, it would have been lot more funnier :banghead:
achilles Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 Sshh. You guys are disturbing Dhoni & Sachin's penance :om:
fineleg Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 Dhoni is a dumb frickkin idiot to want 100% right! and really silly of Tendulkar to support MSD too Technology is not 100% right, but at least many of the HOWLERS!! can be eliminated if not all howlers!!
achilles Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 On a side note, anyone interested in going "life-jacket" shopping with Dhoni :woot:
achilles Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 really silly of Tendulkar to support MSD too Its the other way round, mate!
fineleg Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 ^ Dhoni is the CAPTAIN - his say is more important for such administrative decisions. Ofcourse Tendulkar as the most critical player also has a big say Poor Laxman (and ZK) got shafted! as a result of this stupid policy denying century for Laxy

Ofcourse Tendulkar as the most critical player also has a big say Poor Laxman (and ZK) got shafted! as a result of this stupid policy denying century for Laxy Its sachin's decisiion, dhonii is just following him,how can a man know about a system under which he has not played a single match
fineleg Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 ^ I dont understand. Sehwag and Dravid are saying they want UDRS (well Sehwag is clearer on it). Why would Dhoni have to "repeat" what SRT says, he can give his own idea.

fineleg Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 Going against Sachin is not the "fashionable" thing to do. Look what happened to Greg Chappell. What is happening to Sehwag? Nothing. Sehwag is clearly for UDRS, and Dravid is 'somewhat' favoring UDRS too, and I forgot ZK's stance, but I thought ZK was favorable too Nothing will happen to the players just because they express their opinions on UDRS. MSD is against UDRS

It seems he wants to talk through Dhoni & the other guys. Not the right way to go.
achilles Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 Dharmasena+Davis>UDRS Dharmasena Davis Referral System. DDRS Rocks
fineleg Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 Dharmasena Davis Referral System. DDRS Rocks Charm of umpires :eyedance:
Gunner_Mania Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 I think all you guys are completely wrong. DDRS was only used in this match because Dhoni refused to declare. The umpires were thinking about the wider ramifications of how a draw would mean anybody who is a not a patriot and his uncle will get on and shout from the rooftops that a dull bore draw against NZ in Ahmedabad meant India are killing test cricket, the BCCI is not interested in test cricket etc etc. Unfortunately for them Harbhajan refused to buckle down to the DDRS and went on to bat for as long as he could. Even when he was out he questioned DDRS, but they over ruled him.
fineleg Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 We've been having a few howlers in past Test matches too. Just that nothing has really affected the Test match result and so it is going under the radar. When will SRT, Dhoni and BCCI wakeup and start pushing for the UDRS?
saneindian Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 We need to compile a list of howlers that have gone against team India in recent times. Will work on the list tomorrow to see the total impact it could have made on the tests in last 12 months.
saneindian Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 Now even Bhajji comes out in support of UDRS. Harbhajan was asked his opinion on the Umpire Decision Review System. "As a bowler, I don't mind if that system comes. We had it in Sri Lanka and I quite liked it as I got couple of wickets. But I am no one to decide on this. Big people decide; my job is to just bowl, bat, and field. That's the best I can do." I am sure none of our bowlers will say no to UDRS. Time for Zak to come out and support UDRS too.
