"batting with tail enders" is this a joke by captain.
tailender can come and score a 100 with another tailender more than once. But Dhoni is too good for that lmao

Dhoni admits being ‘mentally fatigued' Playing non-stop cricket for a year, Indian skipper MS Dhoni is a tired man. More... Tuesday 23rd November 2010 Dhoni admits being ‘mentally fatigued' Playing non-stop cricket for a year, Indian skipper MS Dhoni is a tired man. By Abhideep Das While the Indian Test team was rejoicing their 1-0 series win over New Zealand at Nagpur, there was one man who would have been more relieved than others. With the completion of this series, India skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni finally gets a much deserved break as he is being rested for the ODIs vs New Zealand beginning November 28. But before going on the break, Dhoni admitted that playing continuously has taken a toll on both his physical and mental health. “With non-stop cricket over the last 6 months, I never really got a chance to switch off from the game. It took a toll (on me). I was not in a great position mentally at the beginning of the (Test) series,” the Indian skipper mentioned at the post-match presentation. While all the other senior members have been getting their breaks from time to time, the 27-year-old has been a permanent fixture in the Indian team since December 2009. In the ODI series against Sri Lanka then, ‘Mahi’ did not play the third and fourth ODI as he was slapped with a ban due to his team's slow over rate. Post that, Dhoni has been involved in 12 Tests and 18 ODIs. Not to forget that he led Chennai Super Kings to a double triumph in both the IPL and Champions League in South Africa. There was a minor break for him post IPL, with Suresh Raina leading a young Indian team in Zimbabwe. The skipper also said, “While one can work around the physical exhaustion, it is always good to take a break if you are mentally exhausted.” The mental tiredness showed in Dhoni’s batting at Nagpur. Batting with cramps on 98 with a hundred for the taking, the skipper scooped an easy caught and bowled to rival skipper Daniel Vettori. On any other day, Dhoni would have dispatched that ball to the stands. With the tough environment of South Africa awaiting the Indian team, one hopes that the 22-day break (1st Test against Proteas begins on December 16) will do the Indian skipper a world of good.
