^ Sree, nice pics but toooo much of blue cast .... may be you could have used 'cloudy' white balance :dontknow: If you are taking a lot of pictures outdoors, it is not a bad idea to just leave the white balance on "cloudy" .... Leaving the WB on cloudy would work most of the time!

It is not in stock though .... and the Tiffen filter you get with the package is probably not good. Appears as if it is not even multi-coated so you could get a lot of flare Since this is UWA lens, you might need a slim filter otherwise the lens could vignette. Try a multi-coated one from B+W, Heliopan or Hoya, if you need a filter 77mm filters .... I think the Tokina takes 77mm filters
+1 to rett . Cheap filters will do more harm than good .Stick to only hoya ,b+w or heliopan mrc . @Sree : Mostly Auto works fine ,but sometimes camera is fooled .You you will have to select the WB as per the light .cloudy WB would have worked just fine .
pretty pretty :)
Yep ,its much nicer place after renovation than what it was 10 years back :)

I would rather not use a filter than use a bad filter .... If ppl use hood, the front element is protected. UV filter could be useful when you want to cut down on blue cast when you are in the mountains, keep the dust/sand out when shooting on a beach, make your lens dust proof if your lens requires a filter to turn it into dust and moisture resistant lens, etc

I bought a Panasonic Lumix camera recently and "inaugurated" it on a trip to Pune. My friend and I went to Mahbi, Pratapgad, and Panchgani...some pics.
