Nova Posted December 25, 2010 Posted December 25, 2010 Clip 1 has better video quality. If both videos are played in same size and zoom, then Clip 2 will appear more pixelated. edit: I would like to add that judging players from such videos is futile and does not give much credibility to any arguments, although that is not the point of this thread.
zen Posted December 25, 2010 Posted December 25, 2010 The correct question would be ----> would you judge a player based on those clips? Esp. assuming that you don't have much to fall back on except those clips :winky: PS and even go further and suggest based on those clips that the likes of Bradman and Sobers are not good compared to today's (read Tendulkar) players
Sachinism Posted December 25, 2010 Posted December 25, 2010 Bossbhai you're wasting your time. When you exposed how exposed how older cricket writers romanticised the game and players they wanted video proof, when that was provided then they weren't good enough, you're not gonna convince them

zen Posted December 25, 2010 Posted December 25, 2010 Why would ppl who claim to have an open mind go around trying to demean any batsman who is considered better or as good as Tendulkar based on cherry picking be it videos, FC avg, or whatever :winky:
Guest Gunner Posted December 25, 2010 Posted December 25, 2010 Why would ppl who claim to have an open mind go around trying to demean any batsman who is considered better or as good as Tendulkar based on cherry picking be it videos' date= FC avg, or whatever :winky: I am not part of your Bradman Vs SRT debate however I couldn't miss out on the irony that you have fallen prey to your own accusation of others. Your last few posts have been a constant effort to demean SRT to shore up your case.

Your last few posts have been a constant effort to demean SRT to shore up your case. I don't know if I have demeaned Tendulkar (and what your definition of demeaning is) but find it funny that you think that a few post (as per your whatever understanding) would be equivalent to 1000s of posts by some of the others, esp when I have never seen you make any effort to point that out to others :winky: And if you are not part of it then stay out of it. You don't wont me to start pointing out irony to something you are involved with :P

I will leave you to figure out the contradictions. And if you are not part of this then stay out of it! If you want to get involved and then bring it all in :--D Can't be bothered.
