Now recently people have started some kind of agenda against us how we are over rated, no match for the mighty India, Poach players, Green Track bullies and so on and so forth... Is it because now we are....good? Are you scared?
Manny_Pacquiao Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 no hate, just a lack of respect for a team that hasnt beaten india in a test series in 15 years and has lost 5-1 and 5-0 in the last 2 odi series it has played in india that said, england are a good outfit, a potential number 1 and their progression mirrors that of india, given that they were equally **** at the beginning of the decade.

I myself has always beeen a fan of Englad team...Living in a cold country where you barely get 6 months of summer, the team has amazing matchwinning players..You gotta appreciate Englands remarkable recovery after the Peterson, Fletcher saga.. When England appointed Strausss and Flower to head the team, I thought that was the end of England team but it came out to be totally opposite... they are now in the same league of South Africa and India... Special credit has to be given to A.Strauss.. England was always a text book team but now they are prolly the most attacking team in the world... be it T20, ODIs or Test... Watch out for England in this coming Worldcup

SA has had its fair share of heavy defeats in india too. respect should be earned, not doled out unconditionally. england need to win a test series vs india to get the respect of indians like me

This series was interesting and I didn't think England would be this competitive. In the past few years England has become a more consistent side and Aus have depleted. The hate banter you see from some is when things are said like "Are you scared", "England is the greatest - English media", etc. No hate...but some of the posters just respond back to your baits! It's part of the discussion.
