...ohh wait, did he? about time for 'farming' fanclub to learn that, strike-farming works only towards the *** end. Only one end can not build a partnership, Sehwag may be, but that too only in terms of runs and not in terms of time/balls spent at the crease.

Anyone following Indian cricket for the last 2 years will know that its a clear team strategy to not shield the tail-enders. I have seen Laxman, Sachin, Dravid all do this. And it seems to be working for them

No you have to see who is the tailender. If its Ishant Sharma, you don't farm the strike. If its Ojha, Unadkat, you need to farm the strike. Also you need to see what bowler tailender is most comfortable. If Ojha is comfortable playing harris, I won't shield him there. There is no simple approach. it all depends.
