Shakthi Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 y dont u tell me whether the same venue had more grass on track like this and had cloudy weather conditions to start with when india was batting 3 years back?:winky: Have u started watching cricket from today it was flat pitch before u criticise indian bowling please read the pitch report fans like u get on my nerves who dont know abcd of cricket.
kabira Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Whats with Referring Posters as 'Son' who you do not agree with? so now son is an "abuse"
Andy Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 ^another genious comes in without watching anything First test we hardly beat the bat..they scored at 5 RPO...here they are scoring just about 3 rpo...we continuously beat the bat... I did watch ball by ball and there was quite a Bit in the Pitch as well as in the conditions for the bowlers to exploit. Ishant and shree, both were getting quite amount of movement till it was Overcast, even when they were bowling wide. Had most of them been on and around Off stump Things could have been different.
Andy Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 so now son is an "abuse" Who said its an 'abuse' , we all post our views on this board , Disagree and agree with Posters without being Personal. There is just no need of that.
desi pride 1234 Posted January 2, 2011 Author Posted January 2, 2011 son you talked about average score..cape town always been flat pitch with full of runs..son I suggest you stop watching test cricket' date=' some day things go your way...we did not bowl that badly.[/quote'] yes i talked abt average score.at this venue the first innings average score is just 225. now look at the score. 200 for 4 with all the cloud conditions and it had lot of grass. if indian bowlers bent their back, they would have got more success. son, i suggest u to stop advising me and answer me with some stats before acting like the messiah of icf.
kabira Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 ^you did watch..thats great...Did you watch Amla beaten several times?? Did you watch Prince's edge going just wide of 3rd slip?? Did you watch play Kallis beaten?? Did you watch Kallis wrapped on the pad, it was 50-50 call, on some days those are given on some days not given. If you watch all this...I don't know how can you compare our bowling performance of today with the first test.
desi pride 1234 Posted January 2, 2011 Author Posted January 2, 2011 Have u started watching cricket from today it was flat pitch before u criticise indian bowling please read the pitch report fans like u get on my nerves who dont know abcd of cricket. :nono:i guess fans like u who think that they are the great messiah of cricket get on my nerves. i watched the full match and i think indian bowlers should have bowled with more fire. bowling at the pace of 125s and 128s is not gonna help.

If you watch all this...I don't know how can you compare our bowling performance of today with the first test. I did, when we were keeping it around off stump, they were in trouble. But we bowled too short and too wide. I bet Saffers could have made better of those conditions. Had we been more disciplined with our line and length things could have been different. Am not making predictions that Saffers would have been all out, But atleast we could have got a wicket or two more.
kabira Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Who said its an 'abuse' ' date=' we all post our views on this board , Disagree and agree with Posters without being Personal. asterix Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Cut down on the Personal elements in your Posts. :hysterical: Andy (In short yer Dad ;) ).. Tui Naa.. Shotti Baba..:icflove:

If you had seen the game, you would have listened to Pollock and Donald, how indian bowlers were pitching it up...Even Ishant who like back off length, pitched it up most of the times.
Andy Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Well I am very old poster here....and he is new so son does make sense. its not derogatory. To each his/her own, am not an Old poster as You, But surely spent some time here to conclude that Posts involving unnecesary personal elements often divert the topic and make things worse. Now if you think you were correct you can freely adress anyone as 'Son' if you wish.

My point is mainly about Ishant he wasted the new ball. Sree was Fine, though zak wasnt that good in his 2nd spell. Ishant was mostly short and wide. And here i say again i watched the days play, ball after ball.

pensionplan Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Well I am very old poster here....and he is new so son does make sense. its not derogatory.Hmm...ok. Very refreshing from a 'very old poster'.

As per pitch reports deck is flat and full of runs. Average score is misleading check out some of the score in last 10 years 95 (SL) 239 (Australia chased 331 in 4th innings) 620 532 441 54 (Zimbabwe) 205 593 (NZLand) 414 (India) 157 (Pakistan) 243 (WI) 209 273 You can see big scores as well as 250 scores.. We did bowl well, but yes we could have bowled well, but you are saying ours was lack of effort, thats what I don't agree. The last bowl of the day, Ishant bowls ripper...now how can he do that last bowl of the over if there was no effort or lack of motivation.
desi pride 1234 Posted January 2, 2011 Author Posted January 2, 2011 if u dont agree with my point, then watch the match now in tencricket and check at the pace of sreesanth and his body language...
kabira Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 ^oh I did...even pace of Zaheer Khan was down..why didn't you comment on that...If you like pace why follow indian team, I can suggest you a team to follow which has meat eating pace bowlers. Sreesanth bowled well, with luck he could had couple more. IF you don't understand these things you are watching wrong sport
