coffee_rules Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 He is in sync only with Sehwag. With Sehwag departing early, Gambhir and other batsman are always out of sync. In the CT-ODI last year (Dravid was recalled for that tournament), Dravid got Gambhir run out, now in this test, Gambhir returned the favor, altho., it was a Dravid's call when he got out. But Gambhir needs to bat more with other batsman, as a runout in a test match is a big no-no. Shows amatureness.

akshayxyz Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 I think this was due to pressure/anxiety - as they know this is a as close as it can get for taking the series. They have seen numerous such moments - but barring few, everyone gets anxious when expecting something big. In any other situation ( lets say 3rd match in a series of 5 match) they would have been more confident, fluent.

Dravid - Runs anytime anywhere for no reason Gambhir - Always runs as if viru is on the other hand. Dhoni - Runs way too fast that others are always doing the catching up. Bhajji - Fairly good runner between the wickets. Laxman - Doesn't run
