I've already given credit to Sree for bowling some very good spells but like always he had plenty of mediocre to crappy spells along with that. No ones expecting him to take 5 wickets each time but neither is it acceptable that every other spell he bowled in helpful conditions was full of legside trash and wide and full rubbish.

Sreesanth was genuinely shocked by the things that were said to him by the South African players on the 2006 tour. Absolutely nothing was ‘off limits’ – his ability (or lack of it) was easy to cope with but he found derogatory and demeaning references to his faith and culture harder to handle.

As it completley demotivated him and took the fire out of him, exactly when we required more fire. Anyway in other news India draw the series they could have won and Dhoni wins the noble peace prize!

Yarana purana? You might've missed my detailed post which I made previously. Also, Bhajji was very lucky that Kumble was his captain during Monkeygate and not Dhoni..Would've been interesting to know Dhoni's thoughts about Bhajji's antics during that tour...:giggle:

Bhajji is not as dumb as Sree (though dumb enough to slap him). Have you ever seen Bhajji abusing the umpires? Have you ever seen Bhajji sledging indian players in domestic matches? Sree has done all that, hell he even sledged the likes of Sachin and Sehwag. If the crowd even in India goes after him, Sree abuses back. You will never ever see Bhajji do that. Remember how Bhajji tackled the boos from the Aussie crowd on that 2008 tour? As for how Kumble would have handled Sree, well go back to the 2008 test series vs SA (after the SA series) and Kumble asking Sree to focus on his bowling? Or for that matter go back to the 2007 test series vs England and Dravid and Sachin taking Sree to task for bowling beamers, huge no balls and all the antics.
