The Outsider Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 I am convinced this arsenal guy is is none other than Dhillon_28 himself in a new avatar. Yeah, he was. Already banned.
Pak_Forever Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 Silly comment.Wasn't it only b/c of Zaheer that other bowlers were able to make some impact? 1st Test is a pretty good example.
Silva Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 Throughout the series bhajjis was our best bowler. Khan was big dissapointment in the last test and sreesanth was very inconsistant. The less said about sharma the better. I notice a lot of the bhajji hatred comes from people who want to make kumle seem like a better bowler than he was. Or to take the blame of our batting line up. Like in the first test matches in sri lanka. I'm not saying harbhajan is a legend but in this series he was our best bowler and he usually gets it done when their is something in the pitch for him.
CSK Fan Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 A lot of blind hatred for bhaji. Blind hatred? How many times when Bhajji failed last years did any of the fast bowlers come out and comment that spinners could have done better? He gives too many interviews anyways
Silva Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 I could be mistaken but I don't think their has been a test this year where our paceman got big breakthoughs only for bhajji to cost them the win by being inneffective.
Fontaine Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 I think the difference in the last series was that Bhajji consistantly got a lot more drift and loop. No doubt the extra bounce encouraged him but he was very good in landing the ball exactly where he wanted. Just as a comparison the last time we played SA their batsmen routinely targetted Bhajji and were pretty effective against him but this time they were a lot more cautious because his bowling was very sharp. Hopefully he'll continue bowling like this.
