We need to sort out the bowling attack. Zak and Sree are fine. Who's the 3rd seamer? There is every chance our batters may struggle in the series, Bowlers need to back up.

Agree. Strauss is notorious of using tactics to suffocate the run scoring of opposition team and taking wickets due to the pressure created..Has a very good bowling attack at his disposal.. Dhoni will have to really work hard on his team selection, field placings and bowling changes..If England manages to score freely (like they are doing now against Australia), then our Maharathis will be under immense pressure..
India have 2 obvious holes to plug- we need a quality 3rd pacer, assuming zak and sree would be the 2 frontlines. And we dont currently have an experienced No. 6 batter. I think man to man we are definitely better than them, but overall strength-wise, we prolly lag. Another possibly great series for the fans to look forward to.

Man to man only Sach is better than their no.4 ,otherwise there players are at par if not better than ours, also considering they will be playing in their home conditions

A very important aspect is fielding. They field well and back their bowlers to create pressure. Also Strauss too backs his bowlers with good feld placings (ofcource bowlers too bowl with disciplin not like our Ishant/Shree).. We need to have good swing bowlers in the team and have to get Arpy and PK in the team. Umesh Yadav needs to be groomed. He has good pace. But I feel that Ishant will tour England and I pray he bowls better, not like what he has been dishing out recently.. English team is notorious in using various underhand techniques. I noticed them exploiting an ICC loophole in giving ample breaks to the bowlers like Tremlett and Anderson, between the bowling spells. They had 'Oink' Morgan & Monty on guard to quickly go as substitute of these bowlers.. India has to counter all these notorious tactics used regularly by England..

Plus they need to call up an inexperienced morgan to replace collingwood.

I'm not too sure but I remember ICC allows players to take a break of not more than 15-20 mins for genuine reasons and bowlers can bowl immediately after coming back.. English players (especially bowlers) regularly take breaks using this loophole..It's a tried and trusted Duncan Fletcher strategy..Where are bowlers of other teams like India and RSA slog it out on hot and humid conditions without taking frequent breaks..

Okay found it: Law 2. http://static.icc-cricket.yahoo.net/ugc/documents/DOC_C26C9D9E63C44CBA392505B49890B5AF_1285830694420_939.pdf English players have actually been taking "comfort breaks" in disguise of something else..Not allowed by ICC rule book though..But they have obviously found out a loophole to hoodwink the onfield umpires.. It's 8 mins.
