. I don't believe that they have stopped doing it. They are not patient types. If wickets don't fall when they want they will resort to all kind of dirty tricks to get the ball talk. It is high time ball tampering gets serious punishment for the offenders. 1 match 2 match suspension don't work.

You clown, Zaheer has been bowling reverse for years and over hundreds of hours of different camera angles across the world there hasn't been a single incident or even the slightest hint of any ball tampering. Pakistan barely play any test matches any more and in just the first day of this test there's already video evidence of Gul rubbing his thumb along the seam. Or, maybe he was smelling the ball huh? You aren't allowed to choose a bat made of metal (Dennis Lillie) or one that blocks all three stumps (Lillie, again). There are no laws against patching up cracks.

Bowlers, I agree, have the odds stacked against them. That's the way it is. Deal with it. I guess it safe to assume fast bowlers have used some form of tampering, but the smart ones know how to do it surreptitiously. The "el stupidos" like Afridi will get caught.
