Rohan495
Thats what ganguly gets. Hes a very selfish cricketer...Hes retired out of shape. Hes always been in control of selection such as dropping VVS from the world cup squad time to chuck him out let him be the selection commitee

Sachin=GOD
My Bad. :(( some of these "fans" have such short memories that in order to criticize a player they are ready to forget all the contributions of a player as soon as he retires. VVS's 2003 WC dropping was handled so badly and unprofessionally by Ganguly that VVS had to find out from his uncle that he was not selected in the 15 despite the whole team being at the time on the NZ tour and no one be it Ganguly nor Wright had the decency to speak to him. Imagine how VVS would have felt getting shortchanged when players like Dinesh Mongia, Sanjay Bangar got selected.
msplash9
Dude ganguly lead INDIA to 2003 world cup final that year .. And ganguly is the only captain who picked laxman in odis
eraoforton
If Adam Gilchrist, who is 39 and also performed much worse than Dada last year can be picked for $900000 why cant Ganguly be picked for $400000?.:dontknow:

Andy
Hmm..ok. You are more than making it up here with your worship of Dada. Not Worshiping. Speaking Facts which no one can deny, Not like You to make posts on the basis of Whims and Hatred. If you do not agree with any of the poster you should come up with a Counter Logic ,Not Resort to Name Calling of the Players, which is Not allowed on ICF. You should be posting this kind of Garbage on your Bedroom Wall, Not on ICF and degrade the quality of the board.

Andy
Adam Gilchrist is still pretty fit to play cricket...dad is not And How is that? The only thing that goes in his Favour is that He is Natural 20-20 Player, Sourav Is Not. Both are away from International Cricket For some time, Dada outperformed Gilly in IPL 3. Do not exactly know what happened in between.

Sachinism
Get over it now. Its the franchises choice who they buy and who they don't. They didn't feel he was good enough, so he wasn't bought. May have not been the best decision, but I'm sure they have their reasons.

Gilly despite the off year with the bat last year still led DC to the SF and an IPL championship the year before where as the KKR is the only team not to have made to the SF out of the 8 IPL teams in the first 3 years. Ganguly holds no candle to Gilly when all aspects of a 20-20 game and captaincy etc are taken into account. Hence the Dadaji status in the present state for Ganguly and the owners who spend the money certainly look at it that away the people that really matter and no amount of his emotional fans moaning and groaning will change that.
