Zap_Brannigan
In the first 3 years of IPL, several talented younger players were bought for just 30,000$. A lot of these players were better than million dollar buys. But this time, a few of them have graduated from 30,000 to several 100,000$. I will do players formerly played in CSK, lets get the entire list. Murali Vijay : 30,000$ -> 900,000$ (Retained) Ashwin : 30,000$ -> 850,000$ Badrinath : 30,000$ -> 850,000$ Balaji : 30,000$ -> 500,000$ Gony : 30,000$ -> 290,000$ Tyagi : 30,000$ -> 240,000$ One that missed : Jakati,Srikanth
gaurav92
CSK took almost all their old players, its good actually, that they will be almost the same unit, and will know more about their balance in the side.
Zap_Brannigan
CSK took almost all their old players' date=' its good actually, that they will be almost the same unit, and will know more about their balance in the side.[/quote'] Getting most of their players is good but they blew away a chance to work on their problem areas, Pace bowling and now, even spin bowling without Murali. Another problem now is that , although the 1st 11 look good, there is no backup opening batsman, spinner and Indian pace bowler. Hopefully, they unearth some new talent.
