It was a forward, so I am in no position to confirm the veracity of the claims. But I wouldn't be very surprised, as the best and the smartest Police officers would get posted in Mumbai, bringing up Maharashtra's average. :P I'll share a funny incident with you, pertaining to the part I've highlighted. A Marathi friend of mine is married to a Punjabi guy. Like all couples, all they do is argue especially when we hang out as a group. During one such argument, the guy tells his wife" You are a retarded Maharashtrian" , to which the girl replies without missing a beat: "What happens when a retarded Maharashtrian migrates to Punjab?" Before anyone could answer, she continues: "The average IQ of both Maharashtra and Punjab increase." :haha: All of us laughed. Including the husband. :P
