Sunny, Peerless Inn is expensive :giggle: In Kolkata try 6 Ballygunge Place.. they make world's yummiest Bengali food Aaheli is good too - in Peerless only! 6 Ballygunge Place , one you ll find in Ballygunge place itself.. another in salt lake near city centre.. i have been to the one in salt lake. guess ballygunge will be closer to eden than salt lake. And I've heard 'Babu Moshai' in Garia is good too. Haven't been there though! And when you re in Kolkata , donot miss Flurys :(( Flurys isnt as good as it used to be once upon a time.. but still !! Breakfast at flurys is a must 149041_490687529714_563639714_7177185_5117824_n.jpg Memories :girl_sigh: for Chinese try Mainland China, Golden Dragon, etc Aroma's Coffee Shop ( Russell street ? ) good too !! Btw, where are you putting up in Kolkata ?
Oooh Flurys looks food for breakfast befgore the game. Planning to stay somewhere near the ground - possibly here http://sunflowerguesthouse.com/ - which is only 2 mins away from Flurys :aha:
PJ' date=' hit me up when you're in Mumbai. I'm going to the finals as well. (99%)[/quote'] Will be in Mumbai for about 5 days after the final, so will definitely do so and Shano too.
If it is vegeterian food what difference does it make. Just go to the nearest paddy field and graze
:cantstop::cantstop: Great suggestions guys, keep going. Got me salivating already

Sach bhabhi, you don't like hanging out with me? :sniffle: You haven't replied to my post :((
Bhabhi??? Sorry don't know where I'm staying and where Pondy is. But once I know for sure where I'll be I'll let you know and maybe we can link up. Your suggestions seem all very pricey :fear: But I'll look into it BTW I'm in Chennai from 17th-22nd March One of the days there is a match and one day may be going to Tirupati. So we can sort something out on the other days

If you're looking for a decent stay, you'll have to spend around 1.5K bava. There are cheaper hotels but the maintenance is cr@p :((

Parle is crap. Second rate maal. Come to south mumbai, (well, you will be coming here anyways.. coz the stadium is here). Oh, and if you wanna go to Zodiac grill, be prepared to shell out 100+ quid per person for a meal. That place is RIDICULOUSLY priced. Swati at tardeo is fantastic. Soam is also good, but its not swati.
Really ? I've never been to any place in Parle, but I what I know is, that there are many Gujjus there, so I thought there might be good food hub there somewhere :idunno: And yes Zodiac Grill is expensive, but its worth the maahney, its Yummm :woot:Especially the Cheese Souffle and Kalua Mousse is Yummmm :eating: And yes Swati is good for Gujju food.Never been to Soam though.

Tosa is the only one I like in parle.. Zodiac grill is good, but def not worth the money. There are dozens of places that give you as good continental food. One of my favs for continental is "Society" at the ambassador, churchgate (opposite brabourne stadium) Anyway, if you're coming to india, dont eat continental. Go eat Indian. I'd recommend Kebabs and Curries at ITC Parel. (It's sach's fav as well.. you see him often there.. I think he tweeted about it too. )

The Saravana Bhavan in Pondy Bazaar actually also has a Gujju restauant. Swagat or Swati something the name is. It is part of the Saravana Bhavan. The food in Eastham is not even authentic once you have eaten at the Original Saravan Bhavan.
