My patience with Rohit Sharma is up

Y pathan has sucked for ages and was condemned by all. Yet now blossoming. Time and improvement happen very often. I repeat do not write of such a quality player, particularly when he has piled on the runs in domestic cricket. Marl my words Rohit will be back with success. p.s looks a lot slimmer and so deos Yuvraj. Both have clealry worked on their fitness, not that its helped them get runs though:--D

Balance, Coordination and Power But you can say endurance and agility is more important especially if you are a bowler.
Can you show some examples from his past few innings where he has demonstrated his balance, coordination, and power?

His failures havent been through his poor technique, if you havent noticed that already. Im not gonna keep taking your bait, read through what ive wrote in the posts above. Its gone from IPL taking over his mind ------> to him being not fit -------> he doesnt have the technique to play Whats next?

Hitting short and wide deliveries straight to the inner ring and edging intended cover drives on to the stumps for an average which could have been bettered by Nehra not enough for you?

Bait? LOL! You made some claim - I am asking you to provide examples for it and justify it.

Generalization much? Taking one shot and painting his whole technique with the same brush? I can also take a mistake from a player like Tendulkar and paint his whole game with the same brush. Doesnt really reflect who he really is does it?

I might've missed Nohit's performances. Don't remember he single handed won or tried to win a match for India..Could you point me to the right direction?
Against Lanka in Zim. And his 86* not out in vain against Australia last year. :finger: And we lost the game where he scored a century against zimboks :rotfl:

Difference is that Tendulkar makes those mistakes after making 45 runs at a SR of 85 and Sharma makes them after making 27 runs at a SR of 75 on average. I see Rohit as a batsman with a lot of potential, but don't try to fool me or yourself by trying to imply that he has delivered on the field. The reality is that he is a fat and overweight, has no clue about constructing an innings, and is a certified failure in international cricket till date.

Can you please give me his details on his weight and fat content? Can you also pick up what is his in his diet and also what time he poops everyday? Because this is really intruiging news to me. Am I arguing if he has been successful? Your on a high horse sitting in your armchair typing away and giving health checks on players by looking at tv screen. :giggle:

Old news..

Kirsten says players unfit, overweight: reports An angry Kirsten reportedly held one-on-one meeting with captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni [ Images ], Yuvraj Singh [ Images ], Harbhajan Singh [ Images ], Gautam Gambhir [ Images ], Ashish Nehra [ Images ], Rohit Sharma [ Images ] and Zaheer Khan [ Images ] before preparing a damning report on the players' fitness and behaviour. http://cricket.rediff.com/report/2010/may/13/world-twenty20-2010-debacle-kirsten-says-players-unfit-overweight-reports.htm
Kirsten pulls up 3 stars: At 42, I am fitter than you According to sources within the team, Kirsten spoke about the fitness reports of Yuvraj Singh, Zaheer Khan, Rohit Sharma that showed them to be grossly overweight. He took a swipe at them, saying he at 42 was fitter than them. Serving an ultimatum to the unfit players, he told them to “utilize the one-month break to do a bit of soul-searching”. http://www.indianexpress.com/news/kirsten-pulls-up-3-stars-at-42-i-am-fitter/618784/
Notice, Nohit is the only young, upcoming player in that list of Kirsten..

Why he is still picked then along with all those other players? huh? The article is bs report trying to find a scapegoat of a issue since they crashed out of t20 WC. Expect more to come when we fail again this WC next month.

Why's Unadkat picked up then along with all the players?

^ Okay, just chill out, dude. Don't want you getting a heart attack in your teens. Rohit is a model athlete, supremely fit, and has the perfect mix of endurance, coordination, balance, power and agility and other aspects.

You tell me. Do you and I know their fitness? Or the players themselves and the coaching staff know?

They know. That's why the supremely talented Nohit couldn't find any place in the next series (WC). I was supporting Nohit to be selected as he was also providing a part time bowling option. But his batting and temperament was a downer. and I think it was a good decision to dump him..

So your saying he would have been picked based on his fitness and regardless of his form?

No **** sherlock. I didnt want him to be picked either. The SA series was his last chance to salvage something. But he didnt. edit: im out. Sleep time

In odis Rohit is our second top run scorer in last 12 months!:winky: But yes not done well in SA. But he aint the only one. At least he has the excuse of inexeperience and being thrusted in to opening slot! Never run out of patience with youth and talent. The potential of improvement in short spaces of times can be unbelivable at times! I am fully backing Rohit to become a great player

Someone should make Rohit Sharma unconscious (Chloroform??) --> perform liposuction --> take his thumb impression --> transfer all his money to a Rohit Sharma trust fund --> stipulate withdrawal from this account only on performance. (Perhaps they should do it to Yuvraj too)
