His action looks a bit like that of Steve Harmison's when he had started out. Cummins gets a bit more side-on though. But looking at his action, a stress fracture seems inevitable.

Yet to hit 90 mph. The wicket though looks to be a batting beauty' date=' nice pace and carry.[/quote'] Pacey wicket with some extra bounce much better than Kotla and Eden.

why do you think pace and bounce is a good wicket.... just cause indian wickets are not fast and bouncy doesnot mean ours are bad wickets... we have had slow and dusty pitches since a long time and our players cherish playing on these tracks... these should always be the better tracks for us... atleast we indians should consider our pitches as best and not follow west countries and loose our tradition.

Well its better to get him ready then' date=' a player will always take time to adjust and be his best in test whether he's 18 or 25.[/quote'] agree, everyone needs time to adjust at this level specially when he has only played 3 F.C matches

Saw him in CL...& then in the SA-Aus ODI series...was really impressed. & He has bowled quite well today. Action seems easy....infact..they way he runs in...dont look like he will get that much speed. Liking him bowling...& IMO..will cause trouble to our batsman down under if they play him.

Yes there attack suddenly seems a bit more potent. We never know which MJ might turn up against us, Cummins seems to be a very bright prospect and Siddle is one very dependable bowler. :fear:

I'd be surprised if Johnson is still in the side when we play India. With Harris to come back and Cummins bowling better than Johnson, he may just make way unless he steps up very quickly.

IMO, I am more impressed from James Pattinson rather than Cummins in terms of bowling action and the ability to move the ball which Cummins lacks as his seam position is not the balanced, tilting to one side. Cummins, Pattinson, Siddle, and Mitchell Starc/James Faulkner/Kane Williamson. This is future attack for Australia.
