Best choice for IND bowling coach is definately WASIM AKRAM rather than any1 else on earth Wasim Akram is not from the earth?

Moreover, the subcontinent ex-players or coaches are very intrusive in nature. So they would not work for teams. Players are talented enough on their game, they only need a top level guidance on how to approach things and if there is any kink in technique, a mild suggestion on how it may be fixed. Do you seriously think a Greg Chappell or a Gary Kirsten will be giving batting lessons to a Tendulkar or Dravid? A bowling coach does need to intrusive to an extent, so people are more comfortable sharing their limitations or shortcomings with someone they are not that familiar with, yet respectful of what they have achieved in their playing days. In that regard, Allan Donald, whenever he becomes available, may not be a bad choice at all. I don't think DeVilliers is bad either. If he is showing interest in coaching the Indian bowlers, then there is no harm in giving a short run of 6 months or so and see what he can deliver. Hell, we have tried T. Sekhar and Venkatesh Prasad!!

And btw SA has won only 1 of its last 6 test series(against WI ) ?:haha:

Not a big deal as of now. Come on, thrashings (defeat) by innings three times in a series in home conditions is very bad. But anyways, India has been holding on to no.1 rankking for quite long now. Have to be deserving one.

LOL he was more of ODI bowler with great slow deliveries..thats how I remember him mostly.Probably you don't remember him well. Has a very good test and ODI bowling average, and was very slippery on his day. Was not as quick as Donald, Schultz or Bosch, but certainly the next quickest around with Steve Elworthy. But he was much better than Schultz, Bosch or Elworthy.
