straight.drive Posted February 1, 2011 Author Posted February 1, 2011 Excerpts from ICC report. Eden is missing in the following. With regards to the power supply, at the moment the stadium uses generators as back-up in an emergency. It should instead be changed to UPS. No certification of any aspects (health and safety, disaster management) of the venue has been submitted or offered Installation of entry gates Completion of roof structure In essence the stadium has no proper roof, no proper seating arrangement, no certification and even no entry gate. And :WTF: are they fiddling around with generators!!! UPS is a must for any credible event, leave alone a high-profile international match. Still the bloody fools at CAB insist that the stadium is "ready". May be we need to change the definition of being "ready".

saneindian Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 I have a feeling Eden is going to lose all the WC matches. Wake up CAB, you can fool the normal people in a bilateral test/ODI or an event organised by BCCI and get away with no sanitaion or spectator facilites. This is an ICC event and you better set high standards for you.
