Clarke Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 If a journalist asks Kapil Sibal about the low salary issues, he will suggest figures on purchasing power parity thereby implying everything is normal. Same goes for the armed forces and maybe other critical sectors as well, unless the govt takes serious measures to address their grievances, expect the trend to continue. There are other factors as pk mentioned by salary must top all of them. If these scientists were contributing to the country's defense via the private sector, that would be a good thing. Who wants to see perennial projects such as Arjun & Tejas which the armed forces seem reluctant to absorb.
