Jersey #10 Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 Cricket world events have always been prone to upsets caused by minnow triumph over giants. We have got 5 genuine minnows in the world cup. I am sure we will see a few upsets this time around. Zimbabwe (would love to see some good cricket from them) Kenya (I don't even know what they have got in stock but bring it on :two_thumbs_up:) Canada (Least likely to pull an upset) Holland (On their day they can give a short run to a good team in bad form) Ireland (They can pull another Pakistan :yay:) This thread is to :haha::haha::haha::haha::haha::haha: mock the losing giants. (as long as it's not India:--D) For me, the following teams are more likely to experience upsets West Indies (Very unpredictable, most powerful team strength wise but short on talent) New Zealand (Their quick down slide may continue in the WC as well) Bangladesh (These guys are on the border line of being minnows themselves, won't surprise me) Pakistan (would enjoy it the most:finger:) Australia (Would love to watch the 3 time defending champions get an upset:hatsoff:) South Africa (No one is unaware of their chocking abilities :cantstop:) Srilanka (would love to watch the stupid fake accent Sanga cry over an upset) England (flying high after the ashes win, an upset would seek them their right place:finger:) India ()

Zero_Unit Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 I dunno how the groups are aligned' date=' but I would love to see OZ get eliminated by BD in QF [/quote'] Woudn't that be the upset of the upset of the history ... Mega upset :giggle: Offtopic I read that the astronomers predicted that the star is brighter for India and Srilanka comes second to win the WC. He also predicted that SA will be defeted in grp stage by BD or IRE. Now if i can only find that link again. When I find it ill post it. P.S I don't believe in the astrology but I know some of you do so yea thats why I am laying the subject here ...

Watson87 Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 hope this thread doesn't come and bite our ass. If Ban, Eng or Ire beats India, transparent should be banned for at least a month
sangrock Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 I dunno how the groups are aligned' date=' but I would love to see OZ get eliminated by BD in QF [/quote'] I'm betting Oz to go all the way - they bat the deepest. Lee comes at No. 10 (if Hauritz is back in)
Jersey #10 Posted February 1, 2011 Author Posted February 1, 2011 If Ban' date=' Eng or Ire beats India, transparent should be banned for at least a month[/quote'] I excluded India from the mockery in this thread:(( No bans please, I mean no harm :hatsoff:
Sachinism Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 Zim and Ireland are capable of causing an upset. But then letting your guard down against any team could result in an upset
