Ranjha Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 You need the "sarcasm demodulator" installed inside you:winky: Yea I should have figured. Pak fans can only resort to sarcasm and jokes after this performance. My bad.

Manny_Pacquiao Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 Afridi's worst bowling performances by runs conceded, 5 of the top 8 are against India :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: 9.0 0 82 0 9.11 4 1 v India Visakhapatnam 5 Apr 2005 10.0 0 69 0 6.90 5 1 v South Africa Cape Town 18 Dec 2007 10.0 0 68 0 6.80 5 1 v India Peshawar 6 Feb 2006 10.0 0 67 0 6.70 5 2 v India Gwalior 15 Nov 2007 10.0 0 66 1 6.60 4 2 v Australia Brisbane 22 Jan 2010 10.0 0 65 1 6.50 6 1 v India Mohali 8 Nov 2007 10.0 0 64 1 6.40 5 1 v West Indies Adelaide 28 Jan 2005 10.0 0 64 1 6.40 4 2 v India Karachi 26 Jun 2008 its the same thing when u look at economy rate he clearly saves his best for india :giggle:

Chasable but not for Pakistan. They have trouble posting 300 in test matches. How are they going to make 300 in a ODI :winky:
ludhianvi Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 Hey guys, I'd say one thing for sure. Afridi has cost me 1700 points on the cricinfo fantasy league. He keeps getting wickets and man of the match awards. :mad:
Raghav_12 Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 so quick to point to year long events...Afridi wasn't in his bowling prime back then...he was still a part time bowler...but after he got his captaincy he became a strike bowler....which is evident in his recent form...be afraid....very AFRAIDI haha And if I am not wrong, he started eating balls also after becoming captain only. Was there any earlier instance as well? ICC should force him to wear helmet (with very narrow grills) while he is fielding and bowling. :haha:
cricket_blood Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 Afretard will jacked by the kangaroos ...wait...
vvvslaxman Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 Afretard will jacked by the kangaroos ...wait... Like this :cantstop: 40.1 Shahid Afridi to Hussey, 1 run, short and wide, cracked away off the back foot towards deep cover 40.2 Shahid Afridi to White, SIX, White's taken charge, tossed up on middle, he makes room, it lands on a length and he swings it away over deep midwicket for a maximum 40.3 Shahid Afridi to White, SIX, another one, this one's a slog-sweep and much flatter, airy again but he's made to wait for it, slams it over deep midwicket again 40.4 Shahid Afridi to White, SIX, three in a row, is this the decisive over? Takes it from a length and dispatches him over the long-on boundary for another flat six 40.5 Shahid Afridi to White, 1 run, short on middle, punched off the back foot into the leg side for a single 40.6 Shahid Afridi to Hussey, 1 run, dabs it into the off side in front of cover for a single
king2be98 Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 I find it pathetic how the Indian fans in particular will not appreciate Afridi and Razzaq in particular, whilst they may not be the greats of the game, the number of games they've won almost single handedly show they are more than adequate. Indian fans can't use the excuse of Afridi bowling vs minoows and on spinning surfaces, because other bowlers like Murali and Herath etc are also bowling on these surfaces against minnows, but they aren't at the top of the list. If the comparison is between them two in tests, Habrhajan wins, but in ODIs and T20s Afridi wins. You say Afridi bowls poorly against India, well if I recall doesn't Harbhajan have an awful record against Pakistan too? Point is bowlers will always have awful figures in Indo Pak series, because the wickets are flat. Anytime Pakistan can produce a green surface, they tend to outplay India. I remember Karachi 2006 as an example, whenever there are flat surfaces, India win or there are boring draws. I couldn't give a **** what the Indians think about Afridi, right now he's at the top of the wicket taking list and he's bowling very well, he ran through Sri Lanka as well, who are decent players of spin.
king2be98 Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 Why are you using these examples, why don't you pull out the commentary of when Afridi smashed Bhajji into the horizon, those memorable 4x6s.
