Its not like straight cricketers tell the world they are straight. what any individual does in the bedroom with another consenting adult is purely his own business, and IMO he neither should have to declare nor defend his sexuality.

He has a crush on one of his team mate, I think it's a wrong move in coming out in cricket. Now other cricketers will sledge him to the max. If the gay guy was batting very well and I was the keeper I would sledge him to the max :D

Would be a huge PR disaster for the team and the players if something is caught on the stump mic.
