DaFan Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 Good Luck to the Quaterfinalists : Aus, Sa, Ind, Eng, WI, Pak, Lanka, NZ. Bangladesh rightly doesn't deserve a place there.
ravishingravi Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 The real question is does Bangladesh deserve its international status. It plays a lot more cricket than Zimbabwe, Ireland and Netherland. But it has just failed to show any progress. Yes, few moments at home in 10 years. But other sides have shown more promise given the few chances.
ravishingravi Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 As for all Bangbros. celebrating their ranking over WI, this is a timely reality check
ganeshran Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 Dont go wristslitting because of the loss. It is a wake up call Bangladesh needs more investment in cricket and practise at the bigger level. they need to play abroad to improve their level of cricket.

Cricket is just not for Bangladesh, no amount of coaching is gonna help. They should give it up and do others things that are more productive.

Ranjha Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 Bangla got raped today...No 2 ways about it..Lets be blunt and straightforward..They took it up the u know it.......
DaFan Posted March 4, 2011 Author Posted March 4, 2011 The problem is not with cricket. The problem is with unrealistic expectations and hype of very ordinary cricketers More than a decade, recent upward trajectory plus huge pool of players demanded greater expectation. If its gonna be 1 win then 11 losses. No point in playing.

Keep your emotions in check . man:winky: I can see a lot of potential in the Bangladesh team. They need experience and guidance to hone those skills. It's time they stop relying on spinners and invest time and money in producing proper fast bowlers. Spinners can only take you so far.......

You would know better than most that fast bowlers without half decent batsmen can only do so much.
Ranjha Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 More than the bowlers, I think they are lacking one or two power hitters in their team and one solid technically correct batsman. if they get this, and with their current bowling...they can easily be in top 5.
Manny_Pacquiao Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 It's time they stop relying on spinners and invest time and money in producing proper fast bowlers. Spinners can only take you so far....... what a moronic thing to say. phaaaaaaasht bowlers would have helped them score more than 58, right? :hysterical:

Producing batsmen is easier than producing a quality bowler Teams like Ireland, Zimbabwe, Bangladesh have produced decent batsmen. All they lack in is the bowling department. The fast bowling department to be exact
