All of our "question marked" players come into serious form while playing vs Ind and even Akmal starts catching the ball... so I would seriously prefer Pak team to play in QF vs Ind instead of any other team even WI or BD... (p.s. I know the pak vs ind WC history... ) Link to comment

Your top order sucks ass, the middle order is mediocre and the lower order batsmen are totally unreliable. I think Pakistan will get pwned against any side when they bat second. Even if India lose the toss and have to bat second, India has a good enough batting line up to chase it down. So India will be more than happy to face Pakistan in the knock out stage. Also think about the psychological advantage of our world cup record and home pitch conditions and crowd support. I dont think there are too many paki fans in their right mind who would want to take on India any time soon. Link to comment

Pak openers can easily handle Ind attack to at least give a stand with 6+ RR for 10 to 12 overs... Thats what I said, even all of Pakistan's under performing player will come hard on India... and I am really not mocking etc... & indian spin attack is already something ideal for Pak's Middle order batsmen... Well saying Pak to have Ind, even instead of WI or BD, dont really mean that but Pak would really love to have Ind instead of SA or Eng in QF... Link to comment

Asim Posted March 8, 2011 Share Posted March 8, 2011 Aus : 5 + 6 =11(A1) SRL : 5 + 4 = 9 (A2) NZL : 6 + 2 = 8 (A3) Pak : 6 + 2 = 8 (A4) Aus have 3 matches to go and they are against Ken, Can, Pak which is 4 easy points plus a possible 2 more which takes them to 5 + 6 = 11 Pak have 2 matches to go and they are against Zim, Aus so a possible 2 points . Giving them a total of 8 pts SL have Zim , NZ to play and they can expect 4 pts to take them to 9 pts NZ have Can and SL and can expect 2 pts to take them to 8 pts So the last 2 positions in group A will come down to NRR which is heavily in favor of NZ right now and it is fair to assume that it will remain like that. hmmmm.... now please do something to put ind at No.1 also... Although there are 3 more matches to go for us and 2 for the Padosis it is very likey that we meet them either thru B2 vs A3 or B1 vs A4 . So where do we play these fixtures ? Can someone find the link that explains the rules on where the QF's will take place depending on the host country. LOL Baava....we are playing at Ahmedabad and I have the tickets already..I think it will be Ind v/s NZL Q/F. They should be prepared to play for every game against any opponent witought worrying of opponent & concentrationg on their own game. I feel India will Finish 3rd in B3 and Pak will finish at A3 so possibly no quarterfinal will be Ind VS Pak Link to comment
