Any tips on preference for Yaeger or Becker CDs or DVDs? I have heard Gleim question papers are equally good.. these packages are too expensive so need to make sure if I am buying the right study material..

I'd go with Becker; the key comes down to lots of practice and taking sample exams. Your college library should have older exams too. PM me if you have anything else i can help with.

Late Cut' date=' what kind of opportunities exist for CPA in US or elsewhere ? Will it always be core accounting ? Apparently, as per their eligibility criteria I have to take 4 papers.[/quote'] You need the core accounting background and skill set; however, you can branch off into various other roles in related fields, be it in finance or accounting, or in managerial roles. For example, my background is in auditing with a focus on the insurance industry, which i have translated into forensic and litigation consulting. The fiield is very different from traditonal accounting/auditing (including fraud investigations, class action litigation, damage analyses, interviewing people etc.). So you can subspecialize in various fields and industries. I hope that answers your question. If you have anything specific you want to ask, feel free to do so.
