Mariyam Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 Last May, I had gone to the old docks at Sewri (near the fort) along with a few friends to catch a glimpse of the flamingoes who migrate to Mumbai from Siberia ( not sure) every summer. I am not much of a bird lover, but the early morning drive and the cool sea breeze were enjoyable. This is a pic I took.
EnterTheVoid Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 I know this place, its in South bank --- the other side of the river from where the St Lucia campus is.

EnterTheVoid Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 Yep, I remember where Indropilly is, used to get there by CityCat ferry.
Holysmoke Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 Excellent pics Holybaba :icflove: Where did you take this one from? That 40 odd storey building at Nana Chowk? I have never seen this signal so empty. Was this very early in the morning or on a Sunday? Those are not pics I took:cantstop: But I think that pic was taken from the imperial towers Anyway, here are some pics I took. This is a pic for peoplez who are arguing AGAINST beachy cities. Imagine waking up, making a hot cuppa chai, and staring at this while listening to the waves. A beautiful start to the day. :two_thumbs_up: This next picture is from a trip to Diveagar/Harihareshwar. What a road to drive on!
EnterTheVoid Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 Took this image in Melbourne last year. That big circular stadium is the MCG (Melbourne Cricket Ground). Nearby are tennis courts (where the Australian Open is held), soccer stadia and a concert venue. All this just 10 mins from the CBD and very accessible by public transport.
