But the question here is' date= do you seriously believe that such benefits are even part of the equation when the US decides to attack an OIL rich country? In short, does the US govt spend trillions attacking a country so that companies like HB can rake in billions of profits? Ofc the answer is no unless there is conclusive evidence supporting the claim. Lol...you don't think so ? The point is when you say "US spent trillions attacking a country", THAT money came out of every tax payer. And the billions that Halliburton made, those went into a few pockets. Man you prolly need to read up a little bit on Halliburton, and tons of no-bid contracts it got during the Iraq war. Cheney was the CEO for 5 years before the war. Its not just part of the equation, it is THE ****ing equation itself. US didn't go there to get cheap oil for the citizens, it went in for most part (cheap oil from there probably is never gonna materialize), for the profits of likes of Cheney.

Just because they got contracts (no bid or bid) AFTER the war, doesn't mean it was a factor in going into the war. Yes Cheney was CEO before the war, elder Bush was attacked by Iraqi guards and GWB wanted to take revenge. We have heard it all. Now provide some proof that these were discussed and were factors in going into war or else we will sound like Padosis shouting RAW for everything.

The perceived danger of WMDs b). Goodness of heart and as a harbinger of democracy. Both are pretty laughable and more incredible.

Alternative is this: US wants to spread democracy in the middle east cause it will lead to less support for terrorism by totalitarian regimes. Not because of goodness of heart, because it will be better for US security in the long run. Iraq was used an example, but the US needed a final trigger reason. The WMD intel was very flimsy but provided by a Iraqi Chemicals weapons scientist (who now says he lied all the way to get rid of Saddam) and just what they needed to justify the war to the UN and the US public. The above is more believable than the US deciding to risk a trillion dollars and risk their soldiers lives just so Halliburton can rake in those juicy post war contracts.

I just paid $3.45/gallon --- $40 to fill up my goddamn car.... every paycheck Govt takes down a big chunk of fed tax portion along w/ stupid social security and medicare...thank god Texas doesn't have state income tax... every cent we are paying in taxes are being diverted to this bullsh1t....salaries are not going up but everything else is....$15 to see a goddamn movie in 3D....$20 per meal to eat at a mediocre restaurant....flood tax, renters insurance, auto insurance, medical insurance, sales tax, education tax....rich is getting richer and poor getting poorer .....unemployment rampant... 15 yrs of education loan, medical school loan...SOB...fk you federal govt...i'm not filing tax return next yr..fk you IRS...all hard earned money going down the drain...billions of dollars unaccounted for in Iraq....private contractors making a killing...rest of us are fked completely....sidefked
