ViruRulez Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 After a long time, a very good show on TV. As a child, I always wanted Indians to make more and more Guiness world records. Finally the Guiness World Records came to India with the show on Colors channel. There were two episodes till now and more than 10 Guiness records have been broken till now. Great show and great competitors in the show. :isalute: Thanks to all the competitors and thanks for adding all these records to the pride of the nation. The guy Chris who in the US show is also here and he also celebrated Holi. Use to phir bhi baksha par Lisa ko Holi ke rang me pura rang diya Shabbir se. Yes I remember that episode. But our contestants had to go there to perform for the records. Now, we can beat a lot more records and create a lot more new records as the Guiness World Records are on our doorsteps. BTW we have broken all the records we have attempted on the show till now. I dont think we have missed even one record. The international face-off with the German guy in the first episode for fire spitting was also nice. The Punjabi lad broke it with ease. The Guiness world records judge Chris was also impressed. The record breakers normally take the blessing of their parents or teachers/gurus before the records and it also shows the Guru-Shisya and family relations in our culture. Till now it is better than the US version of Guiness World Records. Some of the world records in the US are farce. A recent few farce ones in the US version I remember is the largest numbers of bra straps untied in one minute and the most number of times panty/underwear wearing in one minute. Indians are attempting a lot better records that that. :giggle:

In this week's episode a girl from a village in UP broke the record of pulling the most heavy truck just with her hair. The highest record was by a man and was 8200 kgs weight truck. They created a special category for women for her and made the criteria 3500 kgs but she refused to do it and directly went for 8800 kgs and broke the overall record. :isalute: Another great one was by a Karate team from Gujarat who made a human sandwich on 5 beds of nails and broke the previous record by UK team with 4 sandwiches. Not only that they were required to stay for only 10 seconds for breaking the record amongst the nail sandwich but they stayed for more than 25 seconds. :isalute: Till now every record an Indian has attempted on the show has always broken it. Hats off to their courage and for bringing great pride for the nation. :hatsoff::isalute: NB: This week's episode has not been updated on colors website yet but hopefully will be updated soon. Another very nice episode. Right now it is the best show on TV for sure.
