zen Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 I haven't been watching a lot of games live and haven't read the rules so was wondering what happens if neither the bowling side or the batting side takes the PP till the 46th over? I know that if batting powerplay is not taken, it automatically kicks in at 46th over but what abt bowling powerplay?

amachq Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 There Should Be no Mandatory first 10 overs. So, Bowling Team will take there PP in first five overs. Batting will take it after 40th Over. and the middle overs say 25-35 overs should be Mandatory PP.
